St. Luke Discharged Becci on New Year’s Eve 2017/2018

In this last year we have come across some nasty human beings. One would think and hope others might be generous and compassionate to someone who has fallen so badly through no fault of their own.

Here is a list of the most egregious examples.

St Lukes discharged her on New Year’s Eve 2017/18 and allowed their nurses to dump her into the back of a pickup because we could not afford the $400 ambulance ride to the house.  We called all the TV news stations with the help of friends and none thought this a worthy story. A picture would have been worth a thousand words. Thank goodness the firemen came out to take her into the house because neither I nor my 75 yr old rugby buddy could move her.
